Hebrews 10:23 (KJV) “ Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised;)”   Dear people of God, doctors, nurses and every medical and support personnel are great people for the work they do.   God has granted them the grace, wisdom and talent for the work they undertake daily in saving lives, caring for the sick, aged and so on and so forth.   Whenever you come in contact with them, you should listen to what they say, take and implement their medical advice that is meant to help you.   That said, as Christians, we must also understand the Truth of God’s Word concerning ALL medical ailments as stated in:   Matthew 8:17 (KJV), “Himself (Jesus Christ) took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses.   1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV), “By Whose (Jesus’) stripe, you WERE healed.   Now, you need to take note that God’s Word as recorded in the Holy Bible is forever settled in heaven – Psalm 119:89.   T...

Over and over again, I have seen this happen and I thank God immensely for who He is – a loving Father and a God of integrity. On Saturday night of January 25, 2020 as I was on my way to having a haircut, I received a call from a friend of mine who told me he was still ill despite several visits to the hospital since December 10, 2019 when he first noticed his condition. In China and a number of countries, medical personnel are working hard to stem the spread of the Coronavirus that originated from Wuhan province of China. Latest reports as of Saturday January 25, 2020 has it that about 41 people have lost their lives while more than 1,300 have been infected. In fact, it is also reported that hospitals in Wuhan province of China are overwhelmed by the number of cases that they are now turning back infected patients. What are these patients expected to do? Nobody seems to know, even as the scourge continues to spread even to Europe with 3 confirmed cases in France while the UK is investigating a number of suspect cases. It has also reach Australia, the US and 7 other countries in Asia. Sometimes as Christians, we wonder why God does not respond to our prayers on certain issues especially for matured Christians in the faith. One reason I have found out as God has shown me is that we pray for something God’s Word already tells us how to deal with. A typical example is when you pray to God to help you deal with sickness. God’s Word says in Matthew 8:17, “ And thus He fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, He Himself (Jesus Christ) took [in order to carry away] our weaknesses  and infirmities and bore away our diseases.”   This Scripture clearly tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ took away our weaknesses and infirmities and bore away our diseases. This Scripture applies to every Christian who lives in righteous obedience to God’s commandments in the Holy Bible.
