MAKING COMMITMENTS WITHOUT KEEPING THEM
Proverbs 13:5 (AMPC) “A [consistently] righteous man hates lying and deceit, but a wicked man is loathsome [his very breath spreads pollution] and he comes [surely] to shame.” Dear people of God, a true test of a person’s character is his ability to keep commitments once made. Many people do not realize that failure to keep your word on any matter whatsoever simply amounts to lying and the Bible says all liars will go to HELL – Revelation 21: 8 , 27. Whether it is a pledge you made in Church or to a worthy cause, a promise to a friend, relative, spouse, sibling or colleague in the office, you must keep your word otherwise you are heading to an eternal damnation if you fail to repent, confess and make amends as applicable.
