DO YOU WISH YOURSELF EVIL?
Dear friends, I know the topic of today’s message sounds strange but it is necessary to ask this question because of the way some professing Christians behave. When a Pharisee who was a lawyer asked the Lord Jesus Christ which was the greatest commandment of God, this is what the Lord responded as stated in Matthew 22:37-40, “ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). [Deut. 6:5.] 38 This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbour as [you do] yourself. [Lev. 19:18.] 40 These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Majority of humans who believe in God understand what it means to love God above all else because God is our Creator, Father, Provider, Protector and so on and so forth.
