Hebrews 11:6 (GNBDK) “ To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.”  Dear people of God, the Bible tells us what Faith means as stated above in today’s lead text. it means to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. Faith means you are confident that whatever you want, you have it. It does not come by hard work, your ethnic nationality, gender, school certificate, political connections, Intelligent Quotient (IQ) level or what have you. So how does one obtain faith? This question is very important because there are Christians who pray to God to give them faith or to increase their faith. Unfortunately, such prayer is wrong because it is not Scriptural and therefore not according to God’s will.
