YOU CANNOT SUCCESSFULLY WORK OUTSIDE OF GOD'S PLAN

In the Bible book of Jeremiah 29:11-13, God says, "I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will seek me, and you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart." Dear friend, the above Scripture summarizes today's message. It is only God our Father Almighty that has the best plans for us because He is our Creator. Anyone who tries to live outside of His plans would surely meet with disaster and failure. The reason for this is because God is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. He has unlimited power, unlimited knowledge and He is present everywhere. He alone is in charge of the entire Universe and absolutely nothing can withstand His Great and Mighty Power. An example of the consequence of not walking in line with God's plans is seen in His message to the Israelites i...

THE POWER OF PRAYER

A simple definition of prayer is communication with God our Father Almighty. There are several reasons why Christians engage in prayer. One major and most important reason is giving due recognition to God as the Ultimate Authority in every situation. Because God is the Creator and Owner of everything, we must accord Him reverence and worship. Prayer is one way we do this. We confirm to Him that we depend totally on Him for our sustenance and rightly so. Our Lord Jesus Christ tells us the value of continuous prayer to God without getting discouraged in His parable of the widow and the unjust judge (Luke 18:1-8) stating clearly that God our Righteous Judge will act in our favour and quickly too. Dear friend, God in His infinite mercy has made it known to us in His Word, the Holy Bible that we can only come to Him through His Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As it says in 1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jes...

YOU MUST PRAISE AND HONOUR GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY

It is a great thing to praise and honour the Lord. Whoever learns to do this is a wise individual indeed. Do you know why you must praise God and honour Him always? According to His Word in the Holy Bible in Deuteronomy 11:14, To the Lord belong even the highest heavens; the earth is His also, and everything in it. It is also written in Deuteronomy 11:17, "The Lord your God is supreme over all gods and over all powers. He is great and mighty, and He is to be feared. He does not show partiality, and He does not accept bribes." God is the Supreme Being, the Greatest, the Best, the Holiest, the Mightiest, the Wisest, the Most Powerful, the Finest, etc etc. There is none like Him. There has never been, there can never be. What a mighty God we have. Nothing is too difficult for Him and nothing is impossible for Him (Jeremiah 32:27). He is the owner of everything. So who else are we to worship, honour and praise if not Him? It is even in our own interest t...

GOD IS GREATER THAN EVERYTHING INCLUDING YOUR PROBLEMS

The Lord God Almighty spoke the Universe into existence (Hebrew 11:3). He alone is God and He has alone has Ultimate Power (Psalm 86:10; Isaiah 42:8; 43:11). Nothing can withstand Him and nothing is greater than Him. God does not depend on anyone or anything for His existence. God has always existed before time began. Everything in the entire universe depends on God for existence. God sustains the Universe with His powerful Word (Hebrews 1:3b). God alone sees everything, knows everything and has the Ultimate Power. The question therefore is, is there anything God cannot do? Is there a limit to His power? Is there a situation that is beyond God the Father Almighty? The answer, dear friend, is no! I know this because I have just taken time in the preceding paragraphs to describe to you who God is. There cannot be anything or anyone greater than God because He is the Creator and every other thing is created by Him and for His pleasure (Isaiah 44:24). God says in His ...
