CHRISTIANS, WATCH, LISTEN, LEARN AND ACT NOW!!

Matthew 7:24-27 (AMPC) “24 So everyone who hears these Words of Mine (Jesus Christ) and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock. 25 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these Words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand. 27 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell–and great  and complete was the fall of it.” Dear people of God, I sent the video in the link below to a number of friends and acquaintances via WhatsApp and email very late on the night of Sunday January 20, 2019. It is a testimony of a Columbian lady who died at the age of 25 from an accident and found herself in the tunnel to HELL where demons we...

WHY SPEND YOUR TIME FIGHTING A DEFEATED FOE?

It is so unfortunate these days to see Christians, especially in Africa, focusing their time and energy on fighting the devil in their prayers. What they should rather be doing is enforcing their God-given victory and authority in Christ Jesus. Let us examine one Scripture to make this point clearer in Colossians 2:13-15, “13 And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our transgressions, 14 Having cancelled  and blotted out  and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees  and demands which was in force  and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside  and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross. 15 [God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and...

YOU CANNOT FORCE A PERSON TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST

God has given us a soul that comprises a mind, will-power and emotion. With our mind, we process thoughts arising from an external stimuli and these thoughts manifest in our outward emotions and reactions. With our will-power, we decide whether or not to follow a course of action. It is pertinent to note that you cannot force your own will on another person against his own will as it relates to spiritual matters . The best you can do is to appeal to the person using information available to you. The good side of this is that nobody can mislead you spiritually unless you decide on your own to do so. On the other hand, if your own idea is wrong and you hold on to it, then there is danger lurking ahead. The reason why I state this fact is because some people want to share the Gospel with others and believe those they share with must accept their own position. This is wrong and could lead to frustration when you do not understand the point I am making here. ...

THE SPIRITUALLY BLIND CRITICISES GOD’S WORD

2 Corinthians 4:3-4 (AMPC) “ 3 But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing  and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying  and veiled [only] to those who are lost. 4 For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers' minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating Light of the Gospel of the Glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image  and Likeness of God.” Dear people of God, there are a number of people, unbelievers, whose pre-occupation is to look for “faults” in the Holy Bible, the infallible Word of God and open talk about them in a bid to justify their position as non-Christians or unbelievers. As you can see, today’s lead Holy Bible text above tells us that the Gospel of Christ is hidden only to the spiritually dying and veiled only to the lost. ...

WELCOME TO 2019

Proverbs 16:9 (AMPC) “A man's mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps  and makes them sure.”  Dear people of God, once again I wish you all a very Happy and Prosperous New Year 2019 in Jesus’ Name, Amen. We thank God for all His mercies and blessings upon us and our families in 2018. We look forward to a much brighter and better year in 2019 and beyond. As today’s lead Holy Bible text reminds us, we may have our plans but it is Almighty God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ Who directs our steps and makes them sure. For this to happen, we must draw close to God. We must refrain from whatever offends Him. We must love God above all else and love our neighbour as our selves. We must pursue peace with all humans and holiness without which no person would ever see God. We must believe and trust God as the only One Who can provide our needs as our Creator and loving Father. God has unlimited resources to meet all our needs an...
