The Word of God tells us clearly how the last days on this earth would be and the kind of lives people would also lead. Let us examine Scripture to see this in 2 Timothy 3:1-5 (AMPC), “BUT UNDERSTAND this, that in the last days will come (set in) perilous times of great stress  and trouble [hard to deal with and hard to bear]. 2 For people will be lovers of self  and [utterly] self-centered, lovers of money  and aroused by an inordinate [greedy] desire for wealth, proud  and arrogant  and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffing), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy  and profane. 3 [They will be] without natural [human] affection (callous and inhuman), relentless (admitting of no truce or appeasement); [they will be] slanderers (false accusers, troublemakers), intemperate  and loose in morals  and conduct, uncontrolled  and fierce, haters of good. 4 [They will be] treacherous ...

John 15:7-8 (AMPC) “7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My Words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. 8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honoured  and glorified, and you show  and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.” Dear people of God, most little children see their dad or mum as super heroes who can attend to their every need. Whenever they have any need, the first persons they to run to is either dad or mum depending on who attends to them promptly. A loving dad or mum would promptly provide the solution to the child’s request. There are also times the parent makes a promise to the child and the child continues to remind the parent about what he or she promised until it is done. Dear friends, there are some Christians who claim to believe in God but their actions show a different belief. Dear friends, we have seen in the last 3 weeks various posts on this topic and how it is that the Word of Almighty God is what is required in every human’s life as the ultimate solution to every human problem. We have seen how alcohol as an escape route for some people is not a solution.
