COME BACK TO GOD
Dear friend, have you
strayed away from God because you had a problem, prayed to God for help but
never received a response?
What was the nature of
problem?
(1)
A broken marriage?
(2)
Financial difficulties?
(3)
Death of a loved one?
(4)
A failed examination?
(5)
A recalcitrant child who has left home?
(6)
A troubling health situation?
(7)
A sexual assault?
(8)
A trusted minister of the Gospel who defrauded you
or took advantage of you?
(9)
Incarceration over a wrong allegation?
(10)
Murder of a loved one?
(11)
Inability to conceive after decades of marriage?
Dear friend, I empathise
with you if you are currently experiencing one or more of the listed problems above.
I pray for you that you
find solace in your difficulties.
However, I also want to
assure you that there is only One Person Who alone can take you out of this
problem. His Name is Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
If you have prayed to Jesus
Christ and you did not receive a response or the help you needed, I can assure
you that it is not His fault.
Jesus always hears the
prayers of His children, that is, those who trust in Him as their Messiah and whose
life style conforms to the standards in His Word in the Holy Bible.
Jesus also always answers
the prayers of His children.
At this point, I can
almost hear someone reading this scream out to ask, “are you saying I am not
living in conformity with Jesus’ standards in His Word in the Holy Bible?
No, friend, I have not
said that. It is only Jesus Who knows those who are His, including those who
have kept a number of terrible secrets away from their fellow humans.
What I am only saying is
that when you look into the Word of God, the Perfect Law of Liberty, I can
guarantee that you will find a solution there.
In fact, you will find ALL
solutions there.
God cannot fail to respond to His Word in the Holy
Bible. See what God says concerning His Word in Isaiah 55:10-11, “For as the rain and snow come down from the
heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring
forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
[II Cor. 9:10.]
11 So
shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me
void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that
which I please and purpose,
and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
The challenge with a
number of Christians is that they are busy looking for solutions outside the
Word of God.
What they should rather
be doing is looking into the Word of God for solution to their every problem in
life.
Now, you may ask if one
can find solution in the Word of God in the Holy Bible to the 11 problems I listed
earlier above?
Again, I can guarantee
you that in God’s Word, not only would you find solution to the 11 problems
earlier listed but you would find a solution to every problem in this life.
How do I know this? It is
very simple because God Himself has said so in Matthew 4:4 (AMPC), “Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread
alone, but by every Word that comes forth from the mouth of God. [Deut. 8:3.]”
God says every human
being shall live by every Word that He, God Almighty and Father of my Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ has spoken.
The word SHALL
in law means MUST, which means compulsory, imperative, essential,
pre-requisite, pre-condition, etc.
This means anyone who
lives by the Word of God in the Holy Bible will never go astray.
God would never forsake
or leave such person. This is God’s guarantee in Hebrews 13:5.
Dear friend, I am
therefore inviting you to return to Jesus Christ and to His Word. You probably
have been searching in the wrong places for a solution whereas the right place
to search for solution is in the Holy Bible.
How do how search? That’s
very simple. Just take a Bible, and first pray to God to guide you to the very
solution you are searching for in His Word and then open the Bible and start
reading.
At times, the Spirit of
God would speak Scripture references to you to open and when you read it, Jesus
would speak to you through those verses of Scripture and you would see the
solution there.
Do ensure to meditate on
the Scripture(s) God shows to you so that it can sink into your spirit and
produce the expected results.
Always show gratitude to
God for revealing His Word to you and for every gift He has bestowed upon you
including the gift of live on a daily basis.
This is very important.
