WORLDLINESS IN MODERN CHRISTIANITY
MALACHI 3:6a (AMPC) “ For I am the Lord, I do not change;” HEBREWS 13:8 (AMPC) “ Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).” Dear people of God, the early Christians had distractions to contend with in the course of their lives but probably not of the same magnitude with modern day Christians. Over the centuries, the devil and his evil cohorts (demons and their human agents) have devised so many ways and strategies of causing distractions in Christendom with the sole objective of ensuring nobody enters heaven. Unfortunately, the devil’s destructive efforts at Christians though aimed at men and women appears more focused on the womenfolk. From a recent confession I read from a former satanist turned Pastor Jonas, the devil is angry at women because of two major reasons: (1) As God has ordained, women are the means of reproduction of new human beings into this world as people die. ...
