Of God and Mankind

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has consistently been taking people, male and female, from different continents of the world to show the realities of HEAVEN and HELL and with a warning to mankind to stop sinning, give up evil, repent genuinely, confess wrongdoing, turn to Him (Jesus Christ), accept Him as Lord and Saviour, live a holy life and prepare to go to heaven at the end of life here on earth. Jesus Christ takes these people to HELL to show them the millions of souls who have died in sin and have been condemned FOREVER in HELL where they are suffering tremendous torture from satan and his demons. Jesus also shows the many opportunities these souls had while alive on earth to repent. Jesus shows the different people He sent to minister to these souls to turn from evil and turn to Him, Jesus Christ. There are people who erroneously believe there are many ways to get to God. The truth is, there is only One Way to get to God Almighty, Creator of the Universe, the heavens, the earth and all that is in them, and that is through Salvation found on the Cross of Jesus Christ, His Son our Lord and Saviour. In the wilderness in Horeb when the Israelites complained about thirst, God commanded Moses to strike the rock with his staff the first time in His (God's) presence to bring out water for them to drink (Exodus 17:1-6). The next time the Israelites wanted water and complained at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin, God commanded Moses to gather them again and in His (God's) presence speak to the rock to bring out water for them to drink. In his anger at the rebellious attitude of the Israelites of always complaining about everything, Moses struck the rock a second time rather than speak to it as God commanded. When the Israelites left Egypt to the Promised Land in Canaan, God gave them Ten Commandments through Moses their leader. The third of the commandments states thus in Exodus 20:8-11, "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labour and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it." God uses the word “remember” to begin this commandment because He had earlier informed the Israelites about the Sabbath day when they were in the wilderness on their way to the Promised Land. God Almighty tells us in His Holy Word in Jeremiah 23:23-24, "Am I a God near at hand," says the Lord "and not a God afar off? Can anyone hide himself in secret places, so I shall not see him?" says the Lord; "Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the Lord. Dear friend, if God says nothing escapes His attention, then so it is because God's Word is true forever (Psalm 119:89). What this means for us humans is that everyone has a record of his or her life on this earth from the day we are born until the day we die. This record is kept in heaven, whether it is of things done in the most secret place on earth or the darkest of all places! It is simply a waste of time having secrets that are contrary to God's command. We can deceive men but certainly not God our Creator and Master.
