Dear friend, before you become startled and wonder about today’s topic, let us look at the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 19:23-24 (AMPC), “And Jesus said to His disciples, Truly I say to you, it will be difficult for a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go into the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus made this statement because He knows that majority of rich people put their entire attention and trust on their resources to solve all their challenges in life. The rich person believes he can use his money to have his way all the time and because our world is wired around money, many people unfortunately have the same wrong thinking. In my lifetime, I have had cause to discuss issues with people using God’s Word in the Holy Bible as reference and even when it was glaring they were in error on their submissions, they denied it. One typical example of such behaviour is when I tell people to depend completely on God for everything concerning their welfare. I have noticed that people are ready to complain to you about how others have refused to help them and when you tell them NOT to focus on humans but on God for their help, they are quick to tell you that they depend solely on God. If you depend solely on God, why then are you complaining about a human NOT helping you financially or in any other area of your welfare? It is this act of living in denial that makes such people miss the Truth of God’s Word that would save them from the hardships of life.
