Dear friend, there are some people who believe people doing good things will enter heaven even if they do not know and receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour of their lives. There was a time I reasoned that way and my submission was premised on the fact that God says “by their fruits (or actions), we shall know them” and if they are living lives consistent with the right living as the Word of God prescribes, they would make heaven. How wrong and ignorant I was then in quoting this scripture above and interpreting it wrongly. The Lord Jesus Christ makes it clear in John 3:3 (AMPC), “ I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God. ” So what exactly does it mean to be born again? God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is not partial towards any one. This is clear in Colossians 3:25 (AMPC) Even though the Christians are the only ones qualified to enter heaven when they die, God has still given an opportunity for non-Christians to hear the Gospel of Repentance and Salvation found only in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is why Christians go out to evangelise as Jesus commanded, to tell others about Him as the only Way to heaven. God has done this because He loves and respects every one of His creation, the universe and all in it, especially the humans. God would not force any one to accept His commandments so no one has an excuse to hold God responsible for his or her own actions. Dear friends, there is a court of heaven. The first time I heard of the court of heaven was from a pastor of a parish of my local assembly during a night vigil programme. He had given us amazing testimony after testimony of how he had taken to the court of heaven different cases of parishioners who asked for his prayers over their situation. And God intervened in a most miraculous way in each case. Now, during a popular Christian television programme on cable television, I once again heard about the court of heaven and how one can take cases there. I also want to testify of a recent miracle God gave an acquaintance of mine when I took her case to the court of heaven. I learnt through another friend that this lady was placed on 3 months’ suspension at work over an incident that did not warrant the suspension in the first place because she is a supervisor of a person who is directly connected to the incident.
