MANKIND SHALL LIVE BY EVERY WORD OF GOD

At the beginning of His Gospel Ministry, our Lord Jesus Christ spent 40 days and nights fasting, and at the end when He was hungry, satan came to tempt Him, saying in Matthew 4:1-4, "If you are God's Son, order these stones to turn into bread." But Jesus answered satan, "The Scripture says, 'Man cannot live on bread alone, but needs every Word that God speaks.'" We are told that the basics of life every human being needs are food, shelter and clothing but here is the Lord Jesus Christ saying mankind needs something additional - every Word that God speaks. With His response to satan, the Lord Jesus Christ was confirming the instruction God gave the Israelites through Moses when God commanded the Israelites to faithfully obey His Laws. Moses told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 8:3, "God made you go hungry, and then He gave you manna to eat, food that you and your ancestors had never eaten before. He did this to teach you that man MUST NOT...

ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS IS ABOUT JESUS CHRIST THE MESSIAH

Year after year, the season of Advent and Christmas, the coming and birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is usually marked with a lot of fanfare - shopping, celebration, exchange of gifts and cards, sharing of love, putting up lights and setting up Christmas Trees, singing of Christmas Carols, throwing fire crackers, etc, etc. This is unarguably the best season in the world because of the increased activities that takes place in human lives all geared towards having a memorable occasion. Only very few people focus on the most important aspect of the season - the gift from God of Jesus Christ in fulfilment of His promise and prophecies to send a Messiah to redeem the world from eternal damnation caused by the sin of Adam and Eve. In the beginning, God created man in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26-27) and He did so out of love. Man allowed satan to deceive him, disobeyed God, therefore sinned and shut himself from God's friendship and died spiritually (Genes...

DISCRIMINATION IS A SIN AGAINST GOD

When God the Father created mankind, He said as recorded in His Word in the Holy Bible in Genesis 1:26-27, “And now we will make human beings; they will be like us and resemble us. They will have power over the fish, the birds, and all animals, domestic and wild, large and small.” So God created human beings, making them to be like Himself. He created them male and female.” Nowhere is it recorded in Sacred Scriptures that one race, tribe or ethnicity is superior to another. However, human beings on their own have introduced discrimination of various kinds and caused untold hardship to their fellow human beings. What is even all the more sad is the fact that even among some who claim to be Christians, they practice discrimination of various kinds. God created every one equal so there is absolutely no reason for anyone to believe he or she is superior to another person, gender or race except if it is to do the bidding of lucifer or satan the father and author of wickedness and ...

IS PROFESSING CHRISTIANITY AN AUTOMATIC TICKET TO ENTER HEAVEN?

Amongst some people who profess Christianity, there is a false doctrine of eternal security that submits that someone who is saved will automatically make heaven regardless of how the person lives his or her life afterwards. For emphasis sake, a saved person in Christendom is someone who genuinely repents of evil and wrong doing, believes that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for sins and accepts the Lordship of Jesus Christ as Master and Saviour of the person’s life and is now a new creature guided by the power of God’s Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 5:17). What this means is that there should be a visible transformation both inwardly and outwardly in the person’s way of life that reflects the teachings of Jesus Christ as given on the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5 -6). Anything short of this is mere hypocrisy. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ in word and deed. Christ, who is the visible likeness of the invisible God as Scripture tells us in Colossians 1:15, is Holy....
