Since there are many fraudsters and impostors on Facebook who steal other people’s identities (photos) to open another account in order to defraud others, I am wary of the messages I respond to especially when the poster is “female”. Notice I put the word FEMALE in inverted commas. It happened that this person whom I am still not sure whether male or female started chatting me 2 days before the insulting message. Malachi 3:8-9 “ 8 Will a man rob  or defraud God? Yet you rob  and defraud Me. But you say, In what way do we rob  or defraud You? During a conversation earlier today with my 17-year old nephew, I asked him if he knew his plans for the next one year, to which he responded that his plan was to enter College and graduate with a First class degree. I told him it was a brilliant idea and asked what would be his next plan after graduating with a First class degree, to which he said God would lead him thereafter. I said that was okay but how would he know God was leading him? He responded that since he was fellowshipping in Church with God that meant God was leading him. I reminded my nephew of his mother’s complaints about the behaviour of her church members who were opposing her and causing friction in Church. I reminded him that those same opponents of his mum’s pastoral work in Church would also claim to be fellowshipping with God and by extension claim to be led by God but their actions of causing discord in church clearly shows it was offensive to God. Proverbs 4:23 (GNBDK) “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” Dear people of God, all over the world, people have different ideas on hard work and success. Many people believe success comes from hard work alone. The Bible, the infallible Word of God clearly tells us to work and not to be lazy. Let us look at Proverbs 10:22, “It is the LORD's blessing that makes you wealthy. Hard work can make you no richer” So, it is the blessing of the Lord that makes one wealthy and not hard work alone. Remember, working hard is necessary but it is the Lord’s blessing that makes one wealthy. Now, how does one connect with God to receive His blessings?
