Dear friend, are you aware that Jesus Christ is the Word of God? God has told us NOT to live by bread alone but by every Word He has spoken – Deuteronomy 8:3b; Matthew 4:4. In other words, a human being should live, be upheld and sustained by God’s Word as the Amplified version of the Holy Bible puts it. As Christians, it is so easy to miss this very important point in our relationship with God as our Father especially in times of difficulties. You find many people who look in every direction except the Word of God for solution to their problems. They tell themselves that after all, their past experience has shown that when they prayed to God, He did not answer so why bother Him? Dear friend, this is the very position the devil wants every child of God to reach, which is to rely on your own strength, advice and understanding as against the infallible Word of God.
