Matthew 13:44-45 “The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself]. 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 and upon finding a single pearl of great value, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.” Dear people of God, it does appear today’s topic and the Holy Bible passages are contradictory but they are not. What the Lord Jesus Christ is talking about is the value one should place on Heaven above everything else in this world. Jesus is talking about doing all you can within God’s grace to ensure you enter heaven because there is a great and terrible cost for anyone who would miss heaven at the end of his or her stay here on earth. The individual who by the Grace of Almighty God and Father of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has come to know and experience the saving grace found only in Jesus Christ has a serious obligation to tell others about Jesus Christ. It is not just the duty of the church overseer, pastor, reverend father or reverend alone to share God’s Word with others. See what Jesus says in Mark 16:15-16 (AMPC), “Go into all the world and preach  and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race]. 16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.” If this command was only for the Apostles of Jesus Christ, then the Gospel would have ended with them but it was a command to every generation...
