One mistake most Christians make in their dealing with evil influences - satan, demons and their human agents is that they relax after overcoming them in a spiritual battle using prayer to God in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.   However, satan and his agents never give up in trying to bring down Christians through sin, hardships, conflicts and sufferings because they know that it is ONLY the Christian that has the chance of entering heaven once he or she exits this world.   The Christian is the one who has repented of sin, confessed and forsaken sin, surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and lives in strict obedience to Jesus Christ, Who ALONE is the guarantee of anyone having eternal life in heaven.   The evil ones therefore try to bring down the Christian because they know they have lost all opportunities at entering heaven having rebelled against God their Creator Who has passed judgement on them.   The mission of the evil ones is just one: sin...

Dear friends, just like the Word of God tells us about the last days, we are witnessing a flurry of preachers who are telling people about our Jesus Christ. However, the majority of these preachers are focusing on materialism in this world and not spirituality to gain access into heaven.  Our Lord Jesus Christ said clearly that if you seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, all other things would be added unto you - Matthew 6:33. We see the same message in Proverbs 21:21, "He who earnestly seeks after and craves righteousness, mercy, and loving-kindness will find life in addition to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) and honor." If righteousness is what a Christian or a child of God should seek first in order to get all other blessings from God, why then are most preachers doing the opposite, preaching prosperity instead of righteousness? Many Christians are ignorant of their inheritances as children of God as well as their authority over the powers of satan, demons and their human agents. This ignorance is responsible for the wrong ideas some Christians hold in their minds and manifest in their actions. Faith in the Word of God in the Holy Bible is the key to unlocking the blessings/inheritances that God has given. If you have to wait until something manifests, then that is walking by sight and not by faith. The Word of God tells us that Christians walk by faith and not by sight - 2 Corinthians 5:7. To walk by faith means you understand that the only outcome in any situation is what you have believed in your mind and declared with your mouth. When you therefore hold on to the wrong beliefs in your mind, then those wrong beliefs will manifest in your life. Trying to live without Jesus Christ is just as dangerous as trying to live without air to breathe – the consequences are disastrous. Ever since I’ve come to know Jesus Christ personally by His grace upon my life (and not on my own merit), at times I do wonder how I was able to live so many unfruitful years in the past without Jesus. Just as a child or baby animal depends on his parent(s) for survival, so I depend on Jesus Christ for my entire life. I cannot now imagine living outside of His care upon my life. Unlike humans whose tolerance level for other’s misbehaviour is limited, Jesus is ever ready and willing to take us into His fold when we take the decision to sincerely surrender our lives to Him from a life of sin and evil.
