AND THE TWO SHALL BECOME ONE FLESH
Mark 10:6-8 “ But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female. [Gen. 1:27; 5:2.] 7 For this reason a man shall leave [behind] his father and his mother and be joined to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently, 8 And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. [Gen. 2:24.]” Dear friend, marriage is an institution you never graduate from because the lessons learnt are usually lifelong. In my penultimate post, I wrote about godless unions where the man and woman do not know or fear God and as a result, so many things go wrong in their marriage and cause untold hardships and crises for them, children and family members. The infallible Word of God tells us that in marriage a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and cleave close to her PERMANENTLY.
