WHEN NOTHING ELSE WORKS

Dear friend, are you in a situation where you have prayed continuously to God without getting any response or solution? Are in a situation where you have tried your best to resolve and nothing seems to be working? Are in a situation where it seems all hope is lost? Have your friends abandoned you to your fate mocking and asking where is your God? There is only one solution left to try - praise God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Sing songs of praise genuinely from your mind to God and I assure you the solution will come. It may not sound as a solution to you reading this but I tell you, dear friend, it is THE SOLUTION. There are events in the Holy Bible to confirm what I am saying here. We have the case of King Jehoshaphat whom God commanded to praise Him (God) when Judah went to war against the Moabites, the Ammonites and Meunites - 2 Chronicles 20:1-24. God then made the enemies to fight each other and destroy themselves completely all without t...

SPREADING RUMOURS AND FALSE REPORTS

Dear friend, in these days of technology and social media, information and reports move very fast and so many people are always wanting to be the first to break the news. However, in today's world, we are witnessing an ever increasing number of false reports, rumours and what have you, being spread like wild fire, creating confusion and avoidable tension in many societies and countries. The Word of God sounds a warning in Exodus 23:1, "YOU SHALL not repeat or raise a false report; you shall not join with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness." As we all know, there is no being in this universe that can argue against the Word of God in the Holy Bible because God's Word remains forever, is final and settled in Heaven - Isaiah 40:8; Psalm 119:89, 160. It is therefore futile and a deadly decision to try to against any of God's Word including this warning in Exodus 23:1. Therefore when next you see a report or message anywhere, do not be in a hu...

HOPING FOR HEAVEN, LIVING FOR HELL

Heaven is such a beautiful place as testified by every single person who has been fortunate to visit there through the grace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In fact, the Holy Bible uses these Words to describe heaven in 1 Corinthians 2:9, But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].  Looking again at the above Scripture, one thing we observed is that heaven is for those who love God, promptly obeying His commands in the Bible and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed. This clearly means heaven is not for everyone but only for those who qualify. Some argue that there is no heaven but they are not the focus of today’s message. My focus today is for those who are hoping f...

Amazing But True Story - ONLY JESUS CHRIST CAN DO THIS!!

Evangelist R. W. Schambach writes: "I'll never forget, the greatest miracle I ever witnessed began with an offering. It happened under the ministry of Brother A. A. Allen. I was with this man of God for about five years in the fifties. . ." ". . . . A woman brought her child, who had twenty-six major diseases, to our meeting. I'll never forget this as long as I live. The boy was born blind, deaf and mute. Both arms were crippled and deformed. His elbows protruded up into his little tummy; his knees touched his elbows. Both legs were crippled and deformed; he had club feet. When he was born, his doctors said that boy would never live to see his first birthday, but they were wrong; he was approaching four years of age. Of course, his condition was breaking his mama's heart. She came to our meetings all week, and I got concerned about that boy. In those crusades, we had each person with a need fill out a prayer card, and as the Holy Spirit moved, we w...

COMPASSION FOR SINNERS

When a Christian is persecuted, then prays to God and nothing seems to be happening to alleviate the situation, it could be quite frustrating especially when the person has examined his or her life to know whether there are issues making the Lord not to respond and cannot seem to come up with any.   However, dear friend, let us examine God's Word in Hebrews 12:3-4, "For consider Him (Jesus) Who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.   You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin."   Have you looked at this same issue from another angle, that the persecutor is heading to HELL unless he or she repents? This point of view should elicit compassion from the persecuted Christian if he or she is truly a disciple of Jesus Christ.   Even though it is not an easy task, it is the direction our Lord Jesus wants us to follow. This is why Jesus says in Luke 6:28-29, "Bless those who curse ...
