[Lev. 26:14-17.]” Dear people of God, before the current coronavirus or covid-19 pandemic, there were those Christians who had all manner of excuses not to pay their tithes even when they earned a genuine living. Some said they would rather give the 10% of their LEGITIMATE income that belongs to God to the poor because the Church and Pastor do not need it. When you ask them what they would do with the remaining 90% of their income, they have absolutely nothing meaningful to say but continue to justify why they should disobey God on the 10% of their income from salary and business profit and financial gifts God has said should be given to the Church for the work of the Gospel. 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2 “FURTHERMORE, BRETHREN, do pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may speed on (spread rapidly and run its course) and be glorified (extolled)  and triumph, even as [it has done] with you, 2 And that we may be delivered from perverse (improper, unrighteous) and wicked (actively malicious) men, for not everybody has faith  and is held by it.” Dear people of God, it was reported about 3 days ago that about 1.5million people in the UK went a whole day without a meal as a result of the government lockdown measure aimed at containing the spread of the coronavirus or covid-19. Two days ago, I also saw a video from a popular News Media showing people in Cape Town South Africa breaking into a major store and robbing the store of the items therein. In Nigeria, there have been a number of videos showing people either already robbed or vehicles being robbed of food items by hungry citizens because of the same lockdown measures the Government...

Dear friend, in spite of the global coronavirus pandemic, Christians all over the world are commemorating one of the greatest events known to mankind, which is the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ as He had foretold and accomplished some 1,986 years ago. Fortunately for mankind, Jesus Christ accomplished so many things for us, which, though available to all mankind is unfortunately, only accessible and appropriated by Christians. It would shock you to know that a large number of Christians are not aware of these benefits Christ accomplished for them and how to appropriate them, which is why they pass through life ignorantly and are dealt with harshly by the devil, demons and their human agents. Dear friends, we are told in the Holy Bible in 2 Timothy 4:2, “ Herald  and preach the Word! Keep your sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and ready], whether the opportunity seems to be favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, whether it is welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of the Word are to show people in what way their lives are wrong.] And convince them, rebuking  and correcting, warning  and urging  and encouraging them, being unflagging  and inexhaustible in patience and teaching. ” Drawing from this scripture verse, we can see that no situation and nothing should prevent Christians from taking the Gospel message to every nook and cranny of the Universe.
