Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 (AMPC)   “ [Remember your Creator earnestly now] before the silver cord [of life] is snapped apart, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern [and the whole circulatory system of the blood ceases to function];   7 Then shall the dust [out of which God made man's body] return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it.”   Dear people of God, sometime between end of September and early October 2021, I  received with shock the news of the deaths of two persons I have met physically, one, very close and the other at a business seminar.   What is sad about both deaths is that I never expected it. Proverbs 4:20-22 (AMPC) “ My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.   Dear people of God, the key to receiving from God is understanding and acting on His Word.   It is pertinent to note that you must first realize that God’s Words in the Holy Bible are not ordinary but Supernatural Words, which is why the Lord Jesus Christ stated clearly that His Words are Spirit and they are life – John 6:63.   This same statement is repeated here in today’s reference Scripture text above.   Something else that is of equal importance is that you must follow the sequence of the statements in God’s Word to get the same results God has promised would happen.   The very FIRST thing God tells us in Proverbs 4:20-22 is that we should attend to His Words, consent and submit to His say...

Ephesians 6:9 (AMPC) “ You masters, act on the same [principle] toward them and give up threatening and using violent and abusive words, knowing that He Who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons (no partiality) with Him.”   Dear people of God, there is a popular saying that “to test a man’s character, give him power.”   Indeed, it is few men who have the fear of God Almighty to realize that ALL power belongs to God and that they are mere mortals.    This fear of God makes such men humble with due regard for their fellow humans to treat them well.   What has become the norm in society is that as humans climb the social and political success ladder the majority of them treat their fellow humans with disdain and disrespect as though the latter were lesser beings.   In whatever sphere of life, this oppressive and highly offensive behaviour is the same but the victims of the oppression groan in secret and ...

2 Timothy 3:5 (AMPC) “ For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].”   Dear people of God, any human being who professes Christianity but is living without a personal relationship with God and is not feeding daily on God’s Word in the Holy Bible is starving his or her soul, a very dangerous situation.   From my experience with many Christians in today’s world, this lack of a personal relationship with God and failure to focus and feed daily on God’s Word is the reason many are struggling with their spiritual life.   Though this problem is rampant with many Christians who are not committed Church workers, it is equally manifest amongst those who serve in Church as workers in one capacity or the other.   No doubt, God has called every one of His children to serve Him in the different...
