Dear friend, I ALWAYS pray to God to send His Holy Spirit to guide me on a topic to write on, to also lead me as I write and for the Spirit to minister to those who read the messages to convict them, take them out of darkness into His Wonderful Light. Today's topic is therefore no exception. However, I believe God led me to see today's topic on a Christian Television programme where I saw a lady talking about she and her mother’s near suicide experiences. It is really sad and amazing to read of suicide and near suicide experiences of others. The truth is, before I gave my life to Christ Jesus many years ago, I once thought of suicide when I was dealing with an emotional breakdown from a failed relationship I had with a lady. Concerning Heaven, the Word of God says in Revelation 21:27 "But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life." It is also written in Revelation 22:14-15, "Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practises a lie." A lot of people erroneously believe there are many ways to God. The result is thus a carry-over of the erroneous belief that everyone should be left to practise whatever religion they have and at the end of their life they will make it to their Creator. Fortunately, the Lord Jesus Christ gave a command to Christians as contained in Matthew 28:19-20, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. If you understand and apply the Word of God as it should be for a Christian, there are things you should ordinarily not struggle with. The question therefore is, why are many Christians mostly focused on satan and evil and not on God and Heaven? Why are Christians so scared to exercise their authority as Children of God (John  1:12)? The answer lies in a Bible verse in Hosea 4:6a, where God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Our Lord Jesus Christ clearly tells us in Luke 10:19-20, "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and NOTHING shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."
