A REASON TO GIVE
Proverbs 11:30 (KJV) “ The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Dear friends, about 4 years ago, I read a report of a Christian project where donations were being solicited to aid translation of the New Testament and the Bible Book of Genesis into a local language to enable God’s Word reach about 800,000 people in Northwest Africa. Do you think this was a laudable project worth contributing to? I want to believe every worthwhile Christian would say yes to this question. It is to such projects that tithes and donations are contributed. It is to such schemes that every professing Christian should demonstrate love to the Lord Jesus Christ by your giving. When the project is completed, the people who study God’s Word would come to know the Truth about Repentance and Salvation found only in the Lord Jesus Christ and they would willingly accept Jesus Christ into their lives as Messiah.
