Romans 10:17 (AMPC) “17 So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).”   Dear people of God, at times a Christian can become discouraged from the many challenges he faces on a daily basis especially in Africa where a lot of lawlessness and injustice is meted out by the political authorities and their agents/representatives to hapless citizens.   So what can one do in such situations? I tell you the truth, dear friend, the Word of God in the Holy Bible is all we should look to for succour.   Anytime I feel a little overwhelmed, I look up to God’s Word for encouragement and strength to carry on because the Lord Jesus Himself tells us in Matthew 11:28-29, “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest.
