  Matthew 6:14-15 (AMPC) “ For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and wilful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.   15 But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and wilful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.”   Dear people of God, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ is much easier than practising what it says.   As stated in today’s lead text, how many of us Christians can forgive and give up resentment concerning a WILFUL sin others commit against us?   I once heard the true testimony of a Christian man who married a woman and had 3 kids with her. Romans 12:14-17 (AMPC) “ Bless those who persecute you [who are cruel in their attitude toward you]; bless and do not curse them.   15 Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others' joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others' grief].   16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things]  and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself  or be wise in your own conceits. [Prov. 3:7.]   17 Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is honest  and proper  and noble [aiming to be above reproach] in the sight of everyone. [Prov. 20:22.]”     Dear people of God, no doubt everyone encounters that one person you would feel highly offended at over a severe hurt the person has inflicted on you.   This is the reason people react to avenge a hurt caused them. This is why spouses quarrel and go their separate ways. ...

Titus 1:16 (AMPC)  “ They profess to know God [to recognize, perceive, and be acquainted with Him], but deny  and disown  and renounce Him by what they do; they are detestable  and loathsome, unbelieving  and disobedient  and disloyal  and rebellious, and [they are] unfit  and worthless for good work (deed or enterprise) of any kind.”   Dear people of God, whenever I hear someone commending his character, one thing I tell him is that it is difficult for someone to OBJECTIVELY assess himself.   As a result of sycophancy as well, it is also difficult even these days to obtain an objective assessment of oneself from others.   However, if a number of people are complaining about the same person’s character and the person does not see anything wrong with his or her character, then something is definitely wrong.   Do others describe you as hostile?
