PRAISING GOD IN TIMES OF DIFFICULTIES
Psalm 27:5-6 (AMPC) “5 For in the day of trouble He (God) will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. 6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. Dear people of God, how easy is it to praise God in a time of extreme difficulty? I believe it is a challenging thing to do for most people. Even people who see you do this would think something is probably wrong with you, but they are wrong!! When you study today’s lead text above, you find the Psalmist tell you what God would do for you in the day of trouble when you trust in Him. He would hide you in His shelter, in His secret place and set you high upon a rock. In essence, God would not abandon you as many are wont to believe.
