WHY YOU SHOULD SEEK GOD FIRST IN ALL THINGS
Hosea 8:4 (AMPC) “They set up kings, but not from Me [therefore without My blessing]; they have made princes or removed them [without consulting Me; therefore], I knew and recognized [them] not.” Dear people of God, we should always seek God FIRST in all things because He is our Creator and Father and He loves us with an everlasting love. Even I who am writing this piece sometimes fail to do so and I suffer unpleasant consequences as a result. You can see from today’s lead Holy Bible text that the Israelites at a time set up kings, appointed and removed princes without consulting God and God said they acted without His blessing and He therefore neither knew nor recognized them. Rather than follow God Almighty, they were busy creating idol images from silver and gold and worshipping inanimate objects.
