FAITH AND REASON
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 (NKJV) “ And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” Dear people of God, the online dictionary defines the word “reason” as a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event. “Reason” is also defined as the power of the mind to think, understand, and form judgements logically. According to wikipedia, Reasoning is associated with the acts of thinking and cognition, and involves using one's intellect. The field of logic studies the ways in which humans can use formal reasoning to produce logically valid arguments. The word “Faith” is defined online as a strong belief in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual conviction rather than proof.
