[I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]   29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.”   Dear people of God, a friend of mine told me a true story his brother told him of a lady working in the same multi-national corporation (well known) with him.   This lady was a senior executive and one day she invited my friend’s brother’s boss and other ladies to a meeting. 1 John 5:19 (AMPC) “We know [positively] that we are of God, and the whole world [around us] is under the power of the evil one.”   Dear people of God, there is no easy way of dealing with tragedy – loss of a loved one, loss of a job, terminal illness, an accident, severe injury caused by a violent spouse, marital separation, etc.   Such incidents are always accompanied by pain and emotional trauma at times depending on the level of understanding of the person(s) affected.   So how does one deal with such issues?   First of all, let me make it clear that God is NOT the cause of tragedy. The story of Job  in Job  Chapter 1 of the Holy Bible is instructive here.   Yes, God PERMITTED the tragedy but Job CAUSED it. How, you ask? Grace be with thee. Amen.”     Dear people of God, whoever thought the word SCIENCE could be found in the Holy Bible? But it is, as shown in today’s lead Bible text above.   But note what is said about science that so many humans completely rely on now.   No doubt science has many good sides seen even in the technologies humans use nowadays. However, there are some grave errors science has committed that when followed would certainly make people err concerning the faith as Christians.   For instance, in high school, science teaches in Biology that humans evolved from animals. The Word of God tells us that not only did God create humans in His image and likeness but God gave humans dominion over the entire earth – Genesis 1:26-27. ...
