Some of these ways are obvious but some are not so obvious and those who do these things are not aware of the dangers they subject themselves to in the eyes of God.   How can you call yourself a Christian and claim that though you do not believe in the discriminatory practice of the Osu caste system of South Eastern Nigeria BUT you cannot have anything to do with them or sanction a marital relationship with someone labelled an Osu?   For those who do not know what the Osu caste system is all about, I...

Colossians 3:16-17 (NIV) “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.    17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the N ame of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”   Dear people of God, I chose to use the NIV bible today to make the message as simple as possible.   The message says we should allow Christ’s message, the Word of God, dwell richly in our hearts as well as sing psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts.   I ask, is it possible for someone who lives this way to deviate from this pattern?   Let me answer from God’s Word in Romans 6:16 (NIV), “ Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death,...
