Matthew 24:6-8 (AMPC) “ And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.   7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;   8 All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish].”   Dear people of God, the King Jesus Christ is coming.   While people all over the world are deliberating the appropriateness or otherwise of the Russian-Ukrainian war, God’s Word is being fulfilled as seen in today’s lead Holy Bible text.   With non-Christians, this is just a war. MATTHEW 24:7-8, 12-13 “ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.   And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.  13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”   Dear people of God, the Lord Jesus Christ made it clear in the Holy Bible that the end of the Church age would witness a lot of crises all over the world.   This is what is currently going on in many nations with famines, pestilences (covid-19, etc), earthquakes, floods, and many other natural disasters.   A lot of people’s means of livelihood has been seriously affected and there is so much pressure on them to provide for their families.   Consequently, just as the Lord Jesus Christ prophesied, lawlessness is abounding and the love of many has grown cold.   Anyone who is familiar with ...
