THE CHRISTIAN I HAVE DEEP REGARD FOR

Matthew 6:14-15 (AMPC) “ For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and wilful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you.   15 But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and wilful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.”   Dear people of God, preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ is much easier than practising what it says.   As stated in today’s lead text, how many of us Christians can forgive and give up resentment concerning a WILFUL sin others commit against us?   I once heard the true testimony of a Christian man who married a woman and had 3 kids with her. One day, this married woman left her home and went to co-habit with another man, committing adultery and over many years had 5 additional kids with the other man.   After a time, the married woman’s concubinator d...

SECULAR MUSIC, SENSUAL DANCING IN CHRISTENDOM

Colossians 3:16-17 (NIV) “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.    17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the N ame of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”   Dear people of God, I chose to use the NIV bible today to make the message as simple as possible.   The message says we should allow Christ’s message, the Word of God, dwell richly in our hearts as well as sing psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts.   I ask, is it possible for someone who lives this way to deviate from this pattern?   Let me answer from God’s Word in Romans 6:16 (NIV), “ Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death,...

HOW DOES JESUS VIEW YOU? (2)

John 12:42-43 (AMPC) “ And yet [in spite of all this] many even of the leading men (the authorities and the nobles) believed  and trusted in Him (Jesus Christ). But because of the Pharisees they did not confess it, for fear that [if they should acknowledge Him] they would be expelled from the synagogue;   43 For they loved the approval  and the praise  and the glory that come from men [instead of and] more than the glory that comes from God. [They valued their credit with men more than their credit with God.]”   Dear people of God, whenever you are in the midst of non-Christians, are you able to openly declare that you are a Christian? Does your lifestyle prove that you are a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ?   A number of us are like the leading men of the city in today’s lead Holy Bible text whose profession of Christ is only when they are in Church or the privacy of their home.   Once they step outside, they are shy or feel ashamed talking...

HOW DOES JESUS VIEW YOU?

Luke 6:46-49 (AMPC) “Why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not [practi s e] what I tell you?   47 For everyone who comes to Me and listens to My Words [in order to heed their teaching] and does them, I will show you what he is like:   48 He is like a man building a house, who dug and went down deep and laid a foundation upon the rock; and when a flood arose, the torrent broke against that house and could not shake  or move it, because it had been securely built  or founded on a rock .   49 But he who merely hears and does not practi s e doing My Words is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation, against which the torrent burst, and immediately it collapsed  and fell, and the breaking  and ruin of that house was great.”     Dear people of God, every Christian knows and agrees that Jesus Christ is his or her Saviour and rightly so. However, from today’s lead Holy Bible text, not every Christian has Jesus C...
