At the end of speaking to an elderly man during an evangelism exercise today, he told us how his daughter from his third wife was about getting married and how happy he was and how members in his Church were amazed at the way he danced about his daughter's upcoming wedding. Third wife? This hit me and I now understood why God had led us to this man to preach the Gospel. This is the same man who had earlier said he believed in Jesus Christ and His power to heal his eye problem, spoke about how God had sustained him all these years, prevented armed robbers from killing him and how he was a deacon in his Church! So I wondered so much about this issue of a third wife that I asked the man if he thought a Christian should have more than one wife to which he said he had never had more than one woman at a time and even the third one was not staying with him. In today's world, there is a lot of scepticism about people who claim to have heard from God. In these perilous times as the Word of God describes in 2 Timothy 3:1-5, so many people have come forward to say that the Lord Jesus Christ took them to show heaven and hell with a warning to mankind to repent before they die or else they will perish ETERNALLY in hell fire where many lost souls are currently languishing and being tortured by satan and his demons. Some of the warning messages from the people who visited heaven and hell are so shocking that some believe no one can be saved because the current lifestyle today is such that being a Christian is more of lip service than humble submission to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in both words and deeds. Dear friend, today's post is the third and final in the series of the topic Wolves in the Church . In the first post of the series, we looked at wolves amongst members of the congregation of the Body of Christ. Last week's post considered wolves amongst the leadership of the Body of Christ. The third group in the wolves in the Church are the most dangerous of all, the agents of satan or lucifer or the devil as most people know him. Agents of satan have just one mission in the Church, which is to ensure that mankind does not benefit from the free offer of Repentance and Salvation God the Father Almighty gives us through His Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Dear friend, in my last post, we looked at wolves in the Church who are members. Today we continue that topic by looking at another group of wolves in the Church - at the leadership level. Recall I mentioned in my last post that the Church is the Body of Christ, the congregation of Believers, a Sacred place of prayer, praise and worship of God Almighty. At the leadership level of the Church, we have individuals, men and female, called by our Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, anointed by Him to continue the Ministry work of preaching the Gospel, winning souls for the Kingdom and shepherding the Church to obey Christ's commands as stated in His Holy Word, the Bible. In the course of carrying out this MOST IMPORTANT task of the Gospel of Repentance and Salvation, the Church leaders must necessarily work with and interact with the members as they cannot do it all alone.
