Dear friend, in spite of the global coronavirus pandemic, Christians all over the world are commemorating one of the greatest events known to mankind, which is the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ as He had foretold and accomplished some 1,986 years ago. Fortunately for mankind, Jesus Christ accomplished so many things for us, which, though available to all mankind is unfortunately, only accessible and appropriated by Christians. Medical experts are proffering various suggestions as to what could be done to stem the evil tide. Social media miscreants are spreading rumours, conspiracy theories, panic and outright lies to deceive and probably kill people with faint hearts who are unwilling to first check and confirm facts before taking action. Political leaders of affected nations are reeling out measures after measures on economic, social, medical and political activities meant to assist their populace to remain upbeat and alive until the crisis subsides. Economies of nations are shutting down, people are engaged in panic buying of food and other essential items for the period they have been told to stay at home in the worst hit nations. On Saturday night of January 25, 2020 as I was on my way to having a haircut, I received a call from a friend of mine who told me he was still ill despite several visits to the hospital since December 10, 2019 when he first noticed his condition. I knew he was ill but I did not know how serious it was until he told me that Saturday night. He told me that every time he visited the restroom to empty his bowels, he would be in severe pain for about 3 hours before he had relief. ...

In China and a number of countries, medical personnel are working hard to stem the spread of the Coronavirus that originated from Wuhan province of China. Latest reports as of Saturday January 25, 2020 has it that about 41 people have lost their lives while more than 1,300 have been infected. In fact, it is also reported that hospitals in Wuhan province of China are overwhelmed by the number of cases that they are now turning back infected patients. What are these patients expected to do? Nobody seems to know, even as the scourge continues to spread even to Europe with 3 confirmed cases in France while the UK is investigating a number of suspect cases.
