Dear friend, there is palpable fear the world over concerning the so called Coronavirus pandemic or covid-19 as coined by the World Health Organization (W.H.O.).

Medical experts are proffering various suggestions as to what could be done to stem the evil tide.

Social media miscreants are spreading rumours, conspiracy theories, panic and outright lies to deceive and probably kill people with faint hearts who are unwilling to first check and confirm facts before taking action.

Political leaders of affected nations are reeling out measures after measures on economic, social, medical and political activities meant to assist their populace to remain upbeat and alive until the crisis subsides.

Economies of nations are shutting down, people are engaged in panic buying of food and other essential items for the period they have been told to stay at home in the worst hit nations.

What is therefore the fate of the families and persons who do not have the financial muscle to buy supplies to last them during this trying period?

There is only One hope and One Source where every uncertain and needy human can turn to, and His Name is Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Word of God and the Messiah.

The reason I am writing this message is to encourage all those who are panic stricken and waiting for the worst to happen to them even as they listen to news media around the world telling of fatalities in different nations arising from this evil pandemic.

Let us see what God’s Word says in Philippians 4:6-7, “Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

7 And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

God clearly tells us that we should NOT fret or have any anxiety about anything. This is the first condition to get answers to your prayers to God.

The second condition is that in EVERY circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with THANKSGIVING, continue to make your wants known to God.

When you do this, then God would grant you a peace that passes all human understanding and people would begin to wonder what sort of a person you are when you are not panicking over this situation.

When they ask you, it is a great time for you to share the Gospel with them that it is ONLY Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour that is required whether in the past, now, in future or forever.

Dear friend, as a popular hymn says, in times like these, you need a Saviour, in times like these you need the Bible, the Word of God.

Do not panic. Do not fret. Do not worry. Only trust in the Lord Jesus Christ Who loves you and Who died for your sins and the sins of all mankind to deliver you completely from the control and dominion of ALL powers of darkness – Colossians 1:13-14.

I want you to understand that covid-19 or whatever name it is called is another creation of the devil and his agents to destroy the human race, spread fear, make people doubt God, blaspheme against God, sin against God and set up themselves to a risk of an eternal damnation in HELL.

Jesus Christ already defeated the devil for you when He (Jesus) died at the Cross of Calvary for our sins (Colossians 2:15) and rose again on the third death as He said He would.

What a child of God is expected to do in times like these is to enforce the victory Christ gave you at the Cross by standing on your rights in Jesus Christ and the Word of God in the Name of Jesus Christ over the devil’s antics.

The devil can only get you when you permit him. Stand on God’s Word in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ to resist the devil and he will flee – 1 Peter 5:8.

The devil cannot get you when you have Jesus Christ, the Sword of the Spirit (God’s Word in the Bible) as your weapons to counter his tricks.

Please take this message very seriously and understand that God ALONE can and would supply all your needs according to His riches and Glory by Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:19.

Are you still living in sin and professing Christ as your Saviour? You need to repent and come back to Jesus Christ in full and uncompromising obedience before it is too late.

Have you as a non-Christian heard the Gospel message severally and are still unsure if the right step for you is making Jesus Christ your Saviour and Lord?

I can assure you, dear friend, that there is no time better than NOW, even as you read this message for you to surrender to Jesus Christ for tomorrow or later may be too late for you.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
