James 1:17 (NKJV) “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. ”   Dear people of God, I have read this Scripture severally in the past but just last night during my family prayer time, the Lord gave me a new and wonderful perspective to this Scripture.   When God’s Word says EVERY good gift and EVERY perfect gift is from above and from God, it means there is no exception to this.   ALL that is good and ALL that is perfect comes from God.   What this means in essence is that the individual who seeks for any good and any perfect gift from anywhere else OUTSIDE OF God would NEVER get it.   It may appear that this is not the case for people who are ritualists and occultists because their gifts come from satan. Psalm 27:5-6 (AMPC)   “5 For in the day of trouble He (God) will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. 6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.   Dear people of God, how easy is it to praise God in a time of extreme difficulty?
