WHY EVERYONE MUST BE HOLY

Nahum 1:3a (AMPC) “ The Lord is slow to anger and great in power and will by no means clear the guilty.”   Dear people of God, no human being must take God for granted. There is no wrongdoing anyone does that escapes God so the idea of having a secret hidden from fellow humans is a waste of time.   The idea of saying no human can live a holy life is a false doctrine and a false teaching because it goes against God’s Word in Matthew 5:48.   See what God’s Word says in 1 Peter 1:14-17 (AMPC), “ [Live] as children of obedience [to God]; do not conform yourselves to the evil desires [that governed you] in your former ignorance [when you did not know the requirements of the Gospel].   15 But as the One Who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct and manner of living.   16 For it is written, you shall be holy, for I am holy. [Lev. 11:44, 45.]   17 And if you call upon Him as [your] Father Who judges each one imparti...

FEAR IS DESTRUCTIVE

Job 3:25 (AMPC) “ For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid befalls me.”   Dear people of God, today’s Holy Bible text above is a reminder of how real our thoughts are.   Unfortunately, many who don’t understand the tangibility of thoughts engage in the destructive habit of fear of many different things.   As seen in this Scripture, Job, a very wealthy man who feared God Almighty and who was the greatest of all men of the East in his time (Job 1:3) was living in fear.   When calamity came upon Job, he lamented that that which he greatly feared had come upon him and that he was afraid of had befallen him.   The Word of God makes it clear in Proverbs 4:23 (GNBDK), “ Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.”   The reason many people engage in the destructive habit of fear is because it has not yet dawned on them that their thoughts are as tangible as physical objects and it determines the very course...

WITH JESUS CHRIST FAILURE IS IMPOSSIBLE

Mark 9:23 (AMPC) “ And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!”   Dear people of God, the above main Holy Bible text was the Lord Jesus’ response to the man who came to plead with the Lord to heal his son of a foul deaf and dumb spirit.   Jesus made it clear to the man and by extension to anyone else reading this message that all things are possible to the individual who believes.   This privilege is for everyone and anyone who believes the Gospel message of Repentance and Salvation found only in Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God.   Now, there are people, even non-Christians who can accomplish feats by their own faith. According to wikipedia, Faith, derived from Latin fides and Old French feid , is confidence or trust in a person, thing, or concept.   This is possible because of God’s Universal goodness to everyone, Christians and non-Christians alike and God has established universal...

A MAJOR HINDRANCE TO AN AFRICAN CHRISTIAN’S PRAYERS (2)

Matthew 5:43-45a (AMPC) “You have heard that it was said, you shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy; [Lev. 19:18; Ps. 139:21, 22.]   44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, [Prov. 25:21, 22.]   45 To show that you are the children of your Father Who is in heaven;”   Dear people of God, in the first part of the post on this topic, we did explain with incontrovertible proof from God’s Word in the Holy Bible in Matthew 11:24-26 the danger in a Christian refusing to forgive offenses and then praying against his or her human enemies in violation of God’s Word and how that is a major hindrance to prayers particularly of the African Christian.   We also showed how anyone who indulges in such evil prayers would eventually end in eternal damnation in HELL unless he or she repents genuinely and begins to walk in love toward others as God has commanded and to pray for God’s Word to reach and arrest all unsaved individuals befo...

A MAJOR HINDRANCE TO AN AFRICAN CHRISTIAN’S PRAYERS

Matthew 11:24-26 (AMPC)   “ For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].   25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.   26 But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.”   Dear people of God, the African child who is not a Christian is usually taught as a child to hate others especially when he is born and raised in a polygamous home.   His mum teaches him to love only his siblings and hate the children of the other women.   When this African child becomes an adult and God arrests him through His Word in the Holy Bible to become a Christian, again, he is taught by his church and ...
