What these people fail to realize is that never in the history of mankind has a pandemic of this nature occurred that has affected all parts of the world. One could argue that air travel, which is a recent development in the 20th century is what has accounted for the fast spread of covid-19 but it is also pertinent to note that air travel has been with us for over a century as well. As is usual with most of us, we would have reflected over 2019 and made some resolutions, goals and commitments for 2020. My simple advice to everyone reading this message today is that you include the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Messiah and Master of the Universe in whatever plans you have for 2020. You must include Jesus Christ because He is the ONLY person Who would never mislead you because of His unfailing love for you as your Creator and God. A number of people, Christians inclusive, are expressing surprise at the escalating level of violence, poverty and evil in the present days. In fact, reports have it that nationals of so called third world countries are migrating legally and illegally in droves to so called “safe haven” nations of the world in Europe and North America. Unfortunately for these legal and illegal migrants, however, even these safe haven countries do not guarantee any safety from evil as we also read almost on a daily basis of stabbings, mass shootings, car drive killings, racism happening in these countries. Nowhere appears to be safe even when some claim they would rather run to the safe haven countries to escape the issues of their own nations like a friend of mine told me earlier today as we conversed over the telephone. Let us see what the Word of God says about these last days in Matthew 24:4-7 (AMPC), “ Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]...
