THE BIBLE IS GOD SPEAKING TO ME (2)

Matthew 24:6-8 (AMPC)
“And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
 
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;
 
8 All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish].”
 
Dear people of God, we are witnessing unprecedented crises all over the world from daily news reports on television, radio, social media, etc.
 
Many people are so shocked because they cannot understand what is really going on.
 
Jesus Christ my Saviour and Lord warned us about this period as characteristic of the end of the Church age while He was here on earth as a human being as seen in today’s lead Holy Bible text.
 
From the covid-19 health crises to floods to earthquakes to famines to social and political upheavals in many nations in Africa, Middle East, South America, Asia (Nigeria, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, India, Ethiopia, Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan, DR Congo, South Sudan, Mozambique, South Africa), rising temperatures in Canada and Western USA, we are seeing God’s Word in the Holy Bible unfolding on a daily basis.
 
Even for Christians, many are confused about what to do. Very few really understand that Scripture is being fulfilled and we are at the very end of the Church age.
 
In fact, as God has revealed through the General Superintendent of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement Ministries, Pastor Alloysius C. Ohanebo, it is a minute to the midnight hour mentioned in the Bible (Matthew 25:6,13) when the Lord’s return to Rapture His saints (qualified Christians) would happen.
 
The devil who is the author of all these crises knows this very well and so is orchestrating his evil demonic agenda on a grand scale, aimed at destabilizing Christians, distracting them and making them lose hope in God and giving up on their Christian faith so they can miss the Rapture.
 
The Lord Jesus Christ also warned in Matthew 24:10 about Christians taking offence at God because of the severe level of suffering they would experience during this time period.
 
It is pertinent to note that the Lord Jesus Christ also warned about the rise of false prophets to deceive and lead many into error, the love of many growing cold and warned that only those who endured to the end would be saved – Matthew 24:11-13.
 
Enduring to the end means you are aware that these calamities and crises must happen as God has prophesied in His Word but as a Christian you MUST remain faithful to God’s commandments and you must never allow yourself to be deceived into offending God by giving up your Christian faith and going into sin in order to stay alive.
 
When you examine these verses of Scripture, nowhere is it stated that God would abandon His children. God is aware that the devil is the author of all these crises but God would always make provision for His children who remain faithful to all His commandments in the Bible despite all the problems of this world.
 
How do I know this?
 
God is the One Who makes this promise for those who remain faithful to Him as stated in Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC), “Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]”
 
Dear friend, the Holy Bible is God’s Word and from events around the world, God is speaking to us today very loud and clear from His Word, telling us to get ready because the greatest event is about to happen, which is the imminent rapture of the saints.
 
As Christians, not only must we live by God’s special grace above sin and its eternal consequences, but we must also continue to warn others about the dangers of sin through the Gospel message of Christ Jesus Christ that must be preached until the end comes as confirmed in Matthew 24:14.
 
No other activity in this world is more important to God than taking to the whole world the Gospel message of Repentance and Salvation found only in Jesus Christ the Messiah.
 
If you are yet to believe, accept, know and follow Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, time is fast running out for you because the consequences of rejecting Jesus are grave.
 
If you profess Christianity but are still living in sin, the time to repent, confess your sins to God and return to Jesus Christ is today and now.
 
Why do you risk your life in sin, risk the grave danger, pain and suffering ahead and risk ultimately damning your soul forever in the lake of fire?
 
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Holy Name, Amen.
