GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD
Psalm 89:34
“My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.”
Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
A sensible Christian who understands this will look for what God has said by careful, meditative study of God’s Word found only in the Holy Bible, thank God joyously for it, claim it and God will surely perform what His Word has stated.
I make bold to say here that the Christian who does not study the Word of God in the Holy Bible to claim the promises therein is only cheating himself of herself.
Jesus Christ in one of His divine visits to late Pastor Kenneth E. Hagin (while alive on earth) told him that there are many Christians who are sincere and living right but they do not get what they ask for in prayer because they don’t meditate on His Word and they don’t believe His Word.
Jesus Christ went on to say that He cannot violate His Word for their sake. Let me explain this so you, dear reader, can understand.
If you are a Christian and you are ill from a terminal disease – Cancer, Ebola, HIV/AIDS, etc, one thing you should understand is that sickness is evil and evil is from satan.
God’s Word says in Matthew 8:17b, “HE HIMSELF (JESUS CHRIST) TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES [upon Himself] AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES.”
God’s Word also states in 1 Peter 2:24b, “for by His wounds you [who believe] have been healed.”
Now, if you steadfastly, tenaciously hold on to God’s Word to believe what is written here in the two Scriptures above, the terminal illness will disappear.
If Jesus took away your infirmity and carried away our diseases, the sickness and disease has not business in a Christian’s body.
Since satan will never stop trying to give Christians sickness (John 10:10; Job 2:7) so they can complain against God to offend Him, you should also note that God cannot violate His Word and when He says Jesus took our infirmities and carried our diseases and by His wounds you who BELIEVE have been healed, then it is exactly what the Word of God says that will happen.
How you will know or confirm whether or not you have faith to believe God’s Word is what comes out of your mouth, which is a reflection of what is going on in your mind, for out of the abundance of the heart (mind), the mouth speaks as the Bible tells us in Luke 6:45.
Dear friend, whether a person is crippled from birth, blind, deaf, dumb, whatever, this same Word of God will heal the person and restore to perfect health.
Who else has given us such beautiful and magnificent grace and blessings if not our God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? Praise, Glory, Honour and Adoration be unto His Holy Name Forever and ever in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
This is why I feel so sorry for the ignorant individual who trivializes the power in God’s Word in the Holy Bible, whether he or she is a Christian or not. Some ignorantly say the Holy Bible is a book of stories or is outdated and we should ignore it.
This is also why I feel serious pity for the person who claims to be a Christian but is living a double life of sin and hypocrisy. How can you ignorantly cheat yourself out of God’s magnificent blessings in His Word and risk going to eternity in HELL FIRE?
God will not and will never violate His Word for your sake because that would make Him a God of double standards but we know our God is Holy, Righteous and Just.
Have you learned anything today dear friend? Thank God immensely for the opportunity.
The most important step you therefore need to take is to obey what God’s has said in John 1:12, “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him (Jesus Christ), He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name”
Receive Jesus Christ today and commence your journey to bliss here on earth and then eternity with Jesus in heaven in the hereafter.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most powerful Name, Amen.
Gabriel Ama.
