In today’s world, many people are adept at quoting Scriptures of God’s Word in the Holy Bible and posting it on social media. However, it is very few that are adept at practising what they preach or post on social media. No one should deceive himself or herself to only preach the Word without practising the truth of God’s Word because it is a very dangerous step to take. Let us see what God’s Word says about such people in James 3:1 (AMPC), “ NOT MANY [of you] should become teachers (self-constituted censors and reprovers of others), my brethren, for you know that we [teachers] will be judged by a higher standard  and with greater severity [than other people; thus we assume the greater accountability and the more condemnation]. ” This Bible verse should teach and warn those who are quick to become teachers of God’s Word that they should also ensure to assess their lifestyles by the same Word of God and not by the behaviour of others.
