Psalm 127:3 (AMPC) “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. [Deut. 28:4.]” Dear people of God, an online dictionary has one definition of the word HERITAGE as a special or individual possession; an allotted portion. So when God’s Word says children are a heritage from the Lord, it means there are a special possession or an allotted portion from God to their parents. As the Word of God tells us in Romans 14:12, every human being will account to God for all that we do from the time we were born until when we depart from this world. The Bible tells us in James 1:17 (NKJV), “ Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Since we are going to give account to God for everything, this includes talents and gifts God has given us.
