Mark 10:6-8  “ But from the beginning of creation God made them male and female. [Gen. 1:27; 5:2.]   7 For this reason a man shall leave [behind] his father and his mother  and be joined to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently,   8 And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. [Gen. 2:24.]”   Dear friend, marriage is an institution you never graduate from because the lessons learnt are usually lifelong.   In my penultimate post, I wrote about godless unions where the man and woman do not know or fear God and as a result, so many things go wrong in their marriage and cause untold hardships and crises for them, children and family members.   The infallible Word of God tells us that in marriage a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and cleave close to her PERMANENTLY.   And the two shall become ONE FLESH, so that they are no longer two but one flesh.   It is wit...

  Ephesians 5:23-28  “ For the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the Head of the church, Himself the Savio u r of [His] body.   24 As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands.   25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her,   26 So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word,   27 That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless].   28 Even so husbands should love their wives as [being in a sense] their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.”   Dear people of God, the above Scriptures are self-explanatory.
