IF NOT JESUS CHRIST, THEN WHO?
When the Lord Jesus Christ used five barley loaves and two fish to feed five thousand men not counting women and children (Matthew 14:13-21), the people were so stunned by this miracle that they wanted to make Jesus king by force but the Lord left the place without their notice (John 6:14-15). The people still looked for the Lord Jesus because they wanted more of such miracles. However, when they had found Him, He told them something else that stunned them - that His body was real food and His blood was real drink and whoever ate His body and drank His blood would have eternal life and He would raise such person up on the last day (John 6:51-56). When the people heard this, many of them stopped being Jesus' disciples and left because they felt the teaching was too difficult to follow (John 6:60, 66).
