GRACE IS GOD'S FREE GIFT NOBODY CAN EARN
The King of Kings, Lord of
Lords, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, First and Last, our Messiah and
Saviour Jesus Christ gave His life as a ransom for the sins of mankind.
He did it to destroy what
satan or the devil had done when he (satan) deceived man to disobey God's
command not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the
garden of Eden.
Sin entered the world as a
result of man's disobedience to God's command. Death then entered the world,
man became enemy with God and was destined to hell fire because heaven was
shut.
The Lord Jesus Christ
reversed all this on the Cross of Calvary. Praise be to God for this wonderful
gift He gave to mankind.
As a result of what Jesus
did, grace flows into the world and into the lives of true Christian believers.
Grace is God's FREE gift to
mankind that nobody can earn. You cannot obtain Grace on your merit or by the
good works you do. Good works as a Christian are necessary but Grace is free of
charge from God.
Grace is that Divine Gift of
God that flows into the lives of believers to confirm that God is indeed with
the person. It is ALWAYS evident in the believer's life. When grace is upon a
believer, miracles are bound to be evident.
Favour surrounds the person
and things work out for good for the person. One example of Grace is the free
gift of Salvation every believer receives upon GENUINE repentance from sin,
evil and wrong doing and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
As long as the believer
walks in line with God's commands as contained in His Word, the Holy Bible,
Grace abounds and the believer is assured of spending eternity with Christ when
he or she departs this world in death or when Christ comes to take His Church
in Rapture, which is very very soon as He (Christ Jesus) has been warning.
It must be noted that God's
grace cannot flow in the life of an unbeliever or sinner. Yes, God may allow a
sinner to prosper but the danger with that sinner is that there is no Grace to
get into heaven for eternity because the sinner is not living according to
God's commands in Scripture.
So though the sinner may
appear to prosper here on earth, the sinner will end up FOREVER in hell fire if
he or she dies unrepentant.
Dear friend, what this
simply means is that we all need the Grace of God, first for the FREE gift of
salvation upon repentance, for sustenance on earth as we live according to
God's commands and then for eternal life at death or rapture.
Nobody can be happy outside
of God's commands. On the other hand, nobody can ever regret obeying God and
keeping His commands because God is sure to reward such individual. Common
sense should therefore tell everyone and anyone that it is a wise thing to fear
God and obey His commands.
Dear friend, save your soul
today, repent of evil and give your life to Jesus Christ that grace of
salvation, sustenance and eternal life may abound in your life.
Today is the time to repent
for tomorrow may be too late. God bless you as you heed His Word today, act on
it and share with others in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Gabriel Ama.
P.S. Below are Scripture
passages on Grace to give you better understanding. God bless you.
John 1:14 And the Word
became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the
only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Acts 4:33 And with great
power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord
Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.
Acts 6:8 And Stephen, full
of grace and power, was doing great wonders and signs among the people.
Acts 11:22-24 The report of
this came to the ears of the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to
Antioch. When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad, and he exhorted
them all to remain faithful to the Lord with steadfast purpose, for he was a
good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were
added to the Lord.
Acts 14:1-3 Now at Iconium
they entered together into the Jewish synagogue and spoke in such a way that a
great number of both Jews and Greeks believed. But the unbelieving Jews stirred
up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds against the brothers. So they remained
for a long time, speaking boldly for the Lord, who bore witness to the Word of
His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
John 1:15-17 (John bore
witness about him, and cried out, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after
me ranks before me, because He was before me.’”) And from His fullness we have
all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and
truth came through Jesus Christ.
Acts 20:32 And now I commend
you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to
give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Romans 1:1-5 Paul, a servant
of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God,
which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the holy Scriptures,
concerning His Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and was
declared to be the Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by
His resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have
received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the
sake of His name among all the nations.
Hebrews 12:15 See to it that
no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” springs
up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled.
1 Peter 5:10 And after you
have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His
eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and
establish you.
Romans 3:20-24 For by works
of the law no human being will be justified in His sight, since through the law
comes knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested
apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it — the
righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For
there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is
in Christ Jesus.
Romans 4:15-17 For the law
brings wrath, but where there is no law there is no transgression. That is why
it depends on faith, in order that the promise may rest on grace and be
guaranteed to all his offspring—not only to the adherent of the law but also to
the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all, as it is
written, “I have made you the father of many nations”— in the presence of the
God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence
the things that do not exist.
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore,
since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord
Jesus Christ. Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace
in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:12-21 Therefore,
just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so
death spread to all men because all sinned— for sin indeed was in the world
before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.
Yet death reigned from Adam
to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam,
who was a type of the One who was to come. But the free gift is not like the
trespass.
For if many died through one
man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace
of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. And the free gift is not like
the result of that one man’s sin.
For the judgement following
one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses
brought justification. For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned
through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace
and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus
Christ.
Therefore, as one trespass
led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to
justification and life for all men. For as by the one man’s disobedience the
many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made
righteous.
Now the law came in to
increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so
that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness
leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Ephesians 2:4-9 But God,
being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even
when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by
grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in
the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages He might show
the immeasurable riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace you have been
saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not
a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Esther 2:16-17 And when
Esther was taken to King Ahasuerus, into his royal palace, in the tenth month,
which is the month of Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign, the king loved
Esther more than all the women, and she won grace and favor in his sight more
than all the virgins, so that he set the royal crown on her head and made her
queen instead of Vashti.
Jeremiah 31:2-3 Thus says
the LORD:”The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness; when
Israel sought for rest, the LORD appeared to him from far away. I have loved
you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to
you.
Acts 15:39-40 And there
arose a sharp disagreement, so that they separated from each other. Barnabas
took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus, but Paul chose Silas and
departed, having been commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord.
2 Corinthians 12:8-9 Three
times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said
to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in
weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that
the power of Christ may rest upon me.
