Ecclesiastes 12:6-7 (AMPC)
“[Remember
your Creator earnestly now] before the silver cord [of life] is snapped apart,
or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the
wheel broken at the cistern [and the whole circulatory system of the blood
ceases to function];
7 Then
shall the dust [out of which God made man's body] return to the earth as it
was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it.”
Dear people of God, sometime between end of September and early October 2021, I received with shock the news of the deaths of two persons I have met physically, one, very close and the
other at a business seminar.
What is sad about both deaths is that I never expected it. You
know, one never expects to hear about the death of someone you have known
personally but it is an inevitable fact of this life even when no one ever
prepares for it.
Again, these deaths are a shuddering reminder that this world is
transitory and there is absolutely nothing here that should get us so
comfortable to the extent that you forget about the afterlife.
Whether you are rich or poor, old or young, known or unknown,
sick or healthy, beautiful or not, death is a leveller for everyone.
You must be prepared for it and preparation means you should
NEVER be carried away by the things of this world.
If you bother yourself so much about the issues of this life,
when you leave this world at death, the issues of life remain for those still
living.
We must therefore understand that it is God who created every
human being in this world and God is a Father to everyone who obeys His rules
for our own well being in this life and in the hereafter.
You must NEVER forget this simple fact because God’s standard in
His Word in the Holy Bible remains the same for everyone regardless of your
circumstances, whether past or current.
So what is God’s rule for all humans?
It is found in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (AMPC), “All has been heard; the end of
the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep
His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of
his creation, the object of God's providence, the root of character, the
foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances
and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.
14 For
God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it
is good or evil.”
Finally, just make sure you don’t die in this world without
having a genuine personal, reverential relationship with God, His Son Jesus
Christ my Lord and the Holy Spirit.
The end for anyone who disregards this advice is greatly terrifying
and all who have experienced it are now full of regrets but it is all too late.
Don’t be one of them.
Jesus Christ is coming shortly to take away only His qualified
children in Rapture. Are you His child? Are you ready for Him?
Come to Jesus Christ today and now, for tomorrow or later may be
too late for you.
