ALWAYS PUT GOD’S WORD FIRST IN EVERYTHING

God has told us NOT to live by bread alone but by every Word He has spoken – Deuteronomy 8:3b; Matthew 4:4.

In other words, a human being should live, be upheld and sustained by God’s Word as the Amplified version of the Holy Bible puts it.

As Christians, it is so easy to miss this very important point in our relationship with God as our Father especially in times of difficulties.

You find many people who look in every direction except the Word of God for solution to their problems. They tell themselves that after all, their past experience has shown that when they prayed to God, He did not answer so why bother Him?

Dear friend, this is the very position the devil wants every child of God to reach, which is to rely on your own strength, advice and understanding as against the infallible Word of God.

As our Father God loves us so much and has made it clear that His thoughts and plans for us is of good and not of evil, to bring to an expected end – Jeremiah 29:11 (AMPC).

As a human child relies on, believes and trusts his earthly father to attend to his needs, so the Lord expects us to do the same in our relationship with Him.

The problem with many Christians is that they are not aware of what God’s Word says on a particular matter because they do not make a study of it, talk less of meditating on it.

As a result, when they pray to God on a matter, they make a request that is not in line with God’s Word and because God cannot violate His Word, He would not grant such request that is outside His Word or His will.

It therefore behoves on the Christian to study God’s Word to know what it says, meditate on it to internalize it on every situation.

Whenever you are now faced with that particular situation, all you have to do is look into God’s infallible Word, repeat what it says, do what it says, thank God for what it says and leave the rest to God.

You can rest assured that God would respond because He is faithful to His Word.

Once you master this process, nothing shakes you because you have understood that God would keep His Word on any matter He has stated.

This way, your prayer becomes effective and answered. This way, you build your relationship with God and learn to obey Him always and receive the divine protection that is available to all God’s children.

Dear friend, this is how to have your prayers answered always. Put God’s Word first and not your emotions nor the advice of friends and any human being.

God always has your best interest at heart and can never fail you.

May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
