THE COURT OF HEAVEN
Dear friends, there is a court of
heaven. The first time I heard of the court of heaven was from a pastor of a
parish of my local assembly during a night vigil programme.
He had given us amazing testimony
after testimony of how he had taken to the court of heaven different cases of
parishioners who asked for his prayers over their situation.
And God intervened in a most
miraculous way in each case.
Now, during a popular Christian television
programme on cable television, I once again heard about the court of heaven and
how one can take cases there.
I also want to testify of a recent
miracle God gave an acquaintance of mine when I took her case to the court of heaven.
I learnt through another friend
that this lady was placed on 3 months’ suspension at work over an incident that
did not warrant the suspension in the first place because she is a supervisor
of a person who is directly connected to the incident.
However, this incident was
technology related over which she had no control and so it was strange that she
was suspended in the first place. To make matters worse, this lady happens to
be the breadwinner because her spouse is not doing well financially.
When I heard all this, I felt unhappy
and so a phone call was placed to her so I could console her. I told her she
should pray and I would also join her to pray.
During my prayer time, I presented
the case at the court of heaven to God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ, the King of Heaven and Righteous Judge.
I told the Lord that He knows all things
and from the facts of this case, He knows this lady is not liable and that He,
God, should give her justice as a Righteous Judge that He is.
Dear friend, just yesterday, my
friend who had informed me about the incident testified that God had intervened
and a review of the case had been done.
She further stated that a very
senior staff related to the incident in the technology unit had been placed on
suspension. When I asked after the lady, I was told she had been recalled with
immediate effect! All this happened within 3 weeks of my presenting the case to
God Almighty at the court of heaven.
Dear friend, I was so elated over
this great news I started singing and praising the Lord. In my quiet moment of
prayer, I continued to thank and praise the Lord because I know He did it in answer
to the petition I had presented to Him over the incident.
What a Mighty God we serve. What a
Glorious and Righteous Judge He is. The Lord is good all the time and all
glory, honour, adoration, majesty and praise be unto His Holy Name forever and
ever in Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
Yes, there is a court of heaven
and it is available to every child of God to access, present any seeming
difficult and intractable case and surely, surely, God, the Righteous Judge
would intervene and give justice.
Please note that I have stated in
the preceding paragraph that the court of heaven is accessible to every child
of God. Every human being is created by God but not everyone is a child of God
and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
A child of God is defined in the
Holy Bible in John 1:12, “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him (Jesus Christ), He gave the authority (power,
privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe
in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.”
There you have it. When you receive and welcome the
Lord Jesus Christ in your life sincerely, then you become God’s child and Jesus
gives you the rights of a child of God including access to the court of Heaven.
The rights of a child of God is not for sinners. It
is not for a non-Christian. It is not for the person who professes Christianity
but is living a double live of sin (all wrongdoing is sin) in hypocrisy.
Are you a child of God with a case that has proven
unresolvable over the years? I tell you today that satan and his agents are
behind your problem. But when you take your case sincerely to the court of
Heaven where God the Righteous Judge sits, you will obtain justice.
Most importantly, dear friend, remember to praise
and thank God sincerely when He gives you justice. Gratitude to God is very,
very important and a huge necessity for every Christian.
Remember also to testify to others about what the
Lord has done for you, as I am doing now so they can be encouraged to always
take their cases to the God of Heaven.
Anyone who comes to Christ, accepts Him as Lord,
lives a holy life in strict obedience to His commands in the Holy Bible is a
child of God.
Dear friend, this is not a difficult thing to do. This
privilege not only opens supernatural doors of blessings to the child of God
but guarantees the person entry into eternal life in heaven with Jesus Christ.
I invite you, dear friend, to come to Jesus Christ
today because He created you and He loves you with a love deeper than you could
ever understand.
Come today and now, for tomorrow may be too late.
May the good Lord bless you as you heed His Word
today, act on it and share with others in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
