YOU MUST PRAISE AND HONOUR GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY

It is a great thing to praise and honour the Lord. Whoever learns to do this is a wise individual indeed. Do you know why you must praise God and honour Him always?


According to His Word in the Holy Bible in Deuteronomy 11:14, To the Lord belong even the highest heavens; the earth is His also, and everything in it.


It is also written in Deuteronomy 11:17, "The Lord your God is supreme over all gods and over all powers. He is great and mighty, and He is to be feared. He does not show partiality, and He does not accept bribes."

God is the Supreme Being, the Greatest, the Best, the Holiest, the Mightiest, the Wisest, the Most Powerful, the Finest, etc etc. There is none like Him. There has never been, there can never be.

What a mighty God we have. Nothing is too difficult for Him and nothing is impossible for Him (Jeremiah 32:27). He is the owner of everything. So who else are we to worship, honour and praise if not Him?

It is even in our own interest that we worship, honour, adore, praise and glorify God Almighty the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Whether we praise Him or not, it does not add to His greatness; it adds nothing to His Majesty and His Glory.

When we praise the Lord with a genuine heart free from sin and evil, we simply find favour with Him because He is always ready to accept us who are created in His own image and likeness.

He is always ready to listen to us if we live as He has commanded. The Book of Psalm 29:2 says "Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

God says in 1 Samuel 2:30, "I will honour those who honour Me, and I will treat with contempt those who despise Me." God called David, King of Israel, a man after His (God's) own heart (Acts 13:22; 1 Samuel 13:13-14).

One of the reasons amongst many God said that was because David knew the value of praising and honouring God (2 Samuel 6:5; 1 Chronicles 16:4-7; 1 Chronicles 25). David was so conscious of praising God that he established a choir to sing praise to God day and night continuously (1 Chronicles 9:33).

Dear friend, if you must be a person after God's own heart, then learn today to praise and honour Him in all you do. No matter what you are encountering today, you must remember that it is only God who can get you out of that situation. Praise Him for the things He has done for you that you can surely count and remember and God will surely get you out of any problem.

Learn to honour God today in all you do by faithfully obeying His commands and God will surely reward you for seeking Him diligently (Hebrews 11:6).

Dear friend, though there are many way ways to honour God the Father Almighty, the best honour you can give to Him is by believing His Word in the Holy Bible, repenting sincerely of sin, wrongdoing and evil and accepting His Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (Acts 2:37-39).

This is because Jesus Christ is the ONLY Way to Salvation, the ONLY Way to God, the ONLY Way to true peace and happiness in the midst of all challenges here on earth and the ONLY Way to eternal life in the hereafter.

Choose Jesus Christ today and begin your journey to eternity with Him. The Lord God bless you mightily as you heed His Word today, act on it and share with others in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

HOW DO YOU CONTROL VIOLENCE IN PEOPLE?

Hebrews 12:14 (AMPC)  “ Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration  and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.”   Dear people of God, I read sometime in December 2019 ago of a police inspector in Nigeria who shot and killed his colleague, a corporal, and the same shot injured another colleague, a deputy Superintendent of police after which the police inspector took his own life.   What could have led to such violence?   I also read of another unfortunate story of a lady killed December 25, 2019, Christmas Day, by her husband who had beaten her to a coma and then ran away after discovering what he had done. GOD CANNOT VIOLATE HIS WORD

  Psalm 89:34  “My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips.” Dear people of God, today’s lead Bible text in Psalm 89:34 is a profound statement by God Almighty and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. What this statement from God means is that there is nothing He has said in His Word that He will fail to perform.
