YOU CANNOT SUCCESSFULLY WORK OUTSIDE OF GOD'S PLAN
In the Bible book of
Jeremiah 29:11-13, God says, "I
alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not
disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for. Then you will call to
me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. You will seek me, and
you will find me because you will seek me with all your heart."
Dear friend, the above
Scripture summarizes today's message. It is only God our Father Almighty that
has the best plans for us because He is our Creator. Anyone who tries to live
outside of His plans would surely meet with disaster and failure.
The reason for this is
because God is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. He has unlimited power,
unlimited knowledge and He is present everywhere. He alone is in charge of the
entire Universe and absolutely nothing can withstand His Great and Mighty
Power.
An example of the
consequence of not walking in line with God's plans is seen in His message to
the Israelites in Jeremiah 2:17-19, "Israel,
you brought this on yourself! You deserted me, the Lord your God, while I was
leading you along the way.
What do you think you will gain by going to Egypt
to drink water from the Nile? What do you think you will gain by going to
Assyria to drink water from the Euphrates? Your own evil will punish you, and
you turning from me will condemn you.
You will learn how bitter and wrong it is to
abandon me, the Lord your God, and no longer remain loyal to me. I, the
Sovereign Lord Almighty, have spoken."
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ told His Apostles as He tells us today in John 15:1-4, "I am the real Vine, and my Father is
the Gardener. He breaks off every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, and He
prunes every branch that does bear fruit.
You have been made clean already by the teaching
I have given you. Remain united to me, and I will remain united to you. A
branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if it remains in the
Vine. In the same way you cannot bear fruit unless you remain in Me."
Dear friend, we have a God
who created the Universe and all things in it include the heavens and the
earth. This God has a Son, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who because of
His immense love for mankind left His Majestic Throne in heaven, came to earth,
took the form of a human being and died for our sins on the Cross of Calvary to
reconcile us to God the Father from the sin of disobedience of our first
parents Adam and Eve.
This same Lord Jesus Christ
reminds us today of His love and tells us to seek Him diligently, find Him in
His Word (The Holy Bible), come to Him, remain united in Him and only then will
we bear abundant fruit by the Power of His Holy Spirit.
If you must succeed in life
without challenges that initially appear insurmountable, you have to obey this
Gospel message of Jesus Christ and trust fully in Him because He can NEVER,
EVER disappoint you.
Jesus loves us as our
Creator and He is always there to assist whenever we call on Him. Challenges in
life are sure to happen, but Jesus says He will see us through every single one
because it is only Him that is able to do this. No one else and nothing else
can.
Dear friend, please accept
Jesus today and let Him become the Lord and Master of your life. You will never
regret it. As Jesus says, without Him, you can do nothing (John 15:5b).
God bless you as you heed
His Word, accept, act on it and share with others in the Mighty Name of Jesus
Christ our Lord, Amen.
